I was able to speak to an ATT representative who put in an inquiry to their engineering team about my address not being listed as fiber eligible, and they got back to me today saying that it was a mistake in their database that has now been corrected. Fiber is the technology used to deliver the service, the speed can vary. Gigabit is about the highest you can get at the consumer level today but you can also just get 100 or 300 or whatever the isp will sell you if you don’t need the extra speed.
